1. Information we use

Depending on the features you use, SPUDZWARE may process your account identifier, Google account email and basic profile information, your editable SPUDZWARE display name and contact email, server configuration and ownership information, server activity and operational logs, support or notification activity, Discord account-link information, reward balances, and billing/subscription status.

SPUDZWARE also keeps technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as session records, timestamps, server power-action security records, error information, and records showing when you accepted the current Terms of Service.

2. Google Sign-In

SPUDZWARE uses Google OAuth for account sign-in. For sign-in, SPUDZWARE requests basic identity permissions such as openid, email, and profile. This information is used to identify your SPUDZWARE account, sign you in, and show account information associated with the service.

Your SPUDZWARE display name and contact email can be edited separately from the Google account used to authenticate.

3. Google Drive backups

Google Drive connection is optional. When you choose to link Google Drive for Minecraft backups, SPUDZWARE requests the drive.file permission. SPUDZWARE uses that permission to create and manage backup folders and ZIP backup files that SPUDZWARE creates or has permission to use for this feature.

SPUDZWARE uses Google Drive access only to provide the user-facing backup feature, including creating a Spudzware Backups folder, creating per-server folders, uploading backups, and performing related backup operations that you request or enable. SPUDZWARE does not request broad access to browse unrelated files across your entire Google Drive.

To support scheduled backups after you leave the website, SPUDZWARE may store Google OAuth access and refresh tokens on the SPUDZWARE backend. These tokens are used to maintain the Drive connection and are not intentionally exposed to other SPUDZWARE users. You can disconnect Google Drive from your SPUDZWARE account to remove the stored Drive connection from SPUDZWARE.

SPUDZWARE's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing or improving the user-facing features described in this policy and is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

4. Minecraft server and backup data

SPUDZWARE processes the Minecraft server files, worlds, configuration, player information, logs, backups, mods/plugins, and related metadata necessary to host and manage your server. Server owners and users they authorize may be able to access management features according to the permissions granted on that server.

When Google Drive backup is enabled, a local server backup may be created first and then uploaded to the linked Google Drive account.

5. Payments

Paid plans may be processed through Stripe. SPUDZWARE receives information needed to determine payment, subscription, renewal, plan, and billing status. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider rather than being intentionally stored by SPUDZWARE's website backend.

6. How information is used

• Provide account access, Minecraft hosting, server management, and backups.
• Apply hosting plans, rewards, expiration rules, and billing status.
• Show notifications and service updates.
• Protect the service from abuse, automated power-action attacks, unauthorized access, and operational failures.
• Diagnose problems and improve reliability and performance.
• Respond to support, legal, security, and service-integrity needs.

7. Sharing and service providers

SPUDZWARE may send limited information to service providers when necessary to provide a feature you choose, such as Google for OAuth/Drive functionality, Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for website/network delivery, and Discord when you choose to link Discord-related features. SPUDZWARE does not sell Google user data to advertisers.

8. Retention and deletion

Account and server information may be kept while needed to provide the service, maintain security and billing records, resolve disputes, or satisfy legal obligations. Server files may be permanently deleted according to the service lifecycle rules described in the Terms of Service, including expiration of temporary Reward Servers and applicable inactivity rules.

Account-owner deletions may be held in a two-slot recovery Trash. Only the newest two deleted servers per account are retained; a newer deletion can permanently remove the oldest Trash entry. If an account is banned, its existing hosted servers are normally retained for seven days before permanent deletion while the ban remains active.

Disconnecting Google Drive stops future Drive operations through that connection and removes the stored Google Drive connection tokens from your SPUDZWARE account. Backup files already created in your own Google Drive remain under your Google account unless you delete them there.

If you want Google authorization removed outside SPUDZWARE, you can also revoke SPUDZWARE from your Google Account permissions. For an account-data deletion request that is not available through the website controls, use the SPUDZWARE Support section.

9. Security

SPUDZWARE uses access controls, authenticated sessions, protected backend routes, and abuse controls designed to reduce unauthorized access. SPUDZWARE may record the trusted account-creation IP address, login IP address, approximate country/region/city derived from Cloudflare IP geolocation/location headers, browser/device user-agent information, and security timestamps to protect accounts, investigate fraud, enforce bans, detect ban evasion, and secure paid hosting. This information is not displayed publicly; authorized SPUDZWARE owners/developers may access it for security and support purposes.

No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so users should protect their Google account, linked services, and server credentials.

10. Your choices

You can choose whether to link Google Drive and Discord, edit supported account profile fields, disable automated Drive backups, unlink Drive, sign out, and manage your server data using the controls provided by SPUDZWARE. You can also manage or revoke Google permissions from your Google Account.

11. Policy changes

If SPUDZWARE materially changes how Google user data or other personal information is used, this policy will be updated and users may be asked to review or consent to the updated terms or disclosures where appropriate.
